Bintou African Hair Braiding at 1661 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.

Well this was my very first time going here to get my hair braided coming from Long Island NY, And I must say Precious did an amazing job I love how my hair came out she was very professional and sweet. I recommend anyone to her and only her (Precious.)... Prices are very reasonable. However the place is very dirty and nasty especially the bathroom oh lord, I will not return back because the own Bintou though I gave her a fake hundred dollar bill. Smh... I pray and wish Precious get her own shop or work out of her home. Lol

I would give them a negative rating if the site would allow me. I made an appointment for 8:00 am, the stylist showed around 11:30ish. Started my hair then quoted me a price $80 higher than what was agreed upon the day before. No apology for her tardiness. Once Anna finished braiding my hair she dipped my braids in hot water to soften them, burned my scalp, and didn’t attempt to towel dry my hair at all. I walked out with my braids dripping wet. Never again! I am a loyal customer to those who deserve it and they are not deserving. It was definitely a learning experience and a mistake I wouldn’t make again, beware☠️☠️. My coat, hoody, pants and under garments are soaked on this brisk winter day as I leave Bintou African Hair Braiding to never patronize again.
