Goodfellows Barber Shop at 9805 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, New York.

This review is concerning a haircut done by JOE at Goodfellows. There's a lot to be said, but I will try to keep it short. Today my son went in for a haircut. He returns home with this mess of a haircut. I called the shop and spoke to Joe who said he was the owner and admitted to doing the haircut. He ask that my son come back to the shop;which we did. I was clearly upset and I asked him how could he let my son walk out of the shop like this and why would he even charge for service like this. He said that he didn't know what happened and that "maybe the clippers slipped or got caught." I was beside myself. I couldn't understand the excuses given by this Guy. I asked him for a refund and he did give me my money back, but kept on giving me excuses. He offered to try to fix it but that was not an option for me. If you couldn't do it right the first time and want to blame it on your machine not your skills, then you certainly should not try again with the same machine. I understand people make mistakes but a big part of correcting them is admitting you did one and not let someone walk out knowing the mess you did on their hair. I'm sure he is fine for some haircuts but definitely not for young men haircuts. STAY AWAY from JOE'S clippers if you don't want to meet up with JACKED UP!

*This is an update to my review. Thank goodness they have a really skilled barber named VINNIE. VINNIE saw how frustrated we were and when I asked if he could fix it he accepted the challenge. As you all can see the challenge was buggy. He did what he could with what he was left to work with and for that we are grateful. Thank you VINNIE for your professionalism and for your skills. If my son does go back there it will definitely be to sit in your chair. A tip I would give everyone is to wait for VINNIE which is the same tip
I have my son. He does have a lot of customers and you will have to wait, but that speaks volumes.
